From the author Sam MCcoy:

“The book that I wrote is called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu abroad, and it is basically a brief guide to training in Brazil, The United States and the UAE. Now the reason I choose these three places is because Brazil is a Mecca of Jiu-jitsu, thats just where every thing comes from. We need to know our history, we need to know how to act if you decide to go there and train. The US because that’s where I am from and that is where I have gotten most of my experience. Additionally the UAE because in five to ten years I feel the UAE will be the Mecca of Jiu-jitsu, it’s just because they have the means, they have the ability and they have the desire to be the best and they are bringing the best coaches over here.”
