Sam ‘Big Chocolate’ McCoy is an MMA and BJJ fighter from American Top Team in Florida. He moved to the United Arab Emirates to further his career. He is teaching BJJ there as part of Sheik Mohamed’s plan to spread Jiu-Jitsu to the people of UAE by instauring BJJ in schools. Now the reason I choose these three places is because Brazil is a Mecca of Jiu-jitsu, thats just where every thing comes from. We need to know our history, we need to know how to act if you decide to go there and train. The US because that’s where I am from and that is where I have gotten most of my experience. Additionally the UAE because in five to ten years I feel the UAE will be the Mecca of Jiu-jitsu, it’s just because they have the means, they have the ability and they have the desire to be the best and they are bringing the best coaches over here.”
