Neiman Gracie: I’m The Best Ground Fighter In The Whole Division

Bellator has been trying to innovate. Following the much buzzed about heavyweight grand prix, they’ve decided to do a welterweight one and it looks as though Neiman Gracie is in.

When prompted about his confidence in the tournament Gracie replied:

“I’m The Best Ground Fighter In The Whole Division. I think I have a big advantage there.”

Featured in the bracket, including current champion Rory MacDonald; former champions Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov; undefeated welterweights Michael Page, Neiman Gracie, Ed Ruth, and Yaroslav Amosov; and former UFC standouts Lorenz Larkin and Jon Fitch.

No Danis though. The first scheduled pairing of the tournament will be a trilogy bout between rivals Lima and Koreshkov, which will take place at Bellator 205 on Sept. 29 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
