Nate Diaz started training Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 14. In 2o12, Nate Diaz, after 12 years of training, finally received his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Cesar Gracie. He was awarded his black belt a month before his fight with fellow Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Jim Miller.
Now in 2021, Nate Diaz has earned his 3rd Degree on his BJJ Black Belt from the very same Cesar Gracie with his cousin Renzo Gracie in attendance.
He will get his his 4th degree in 5 years time as per IBJJF rules.
