Miesha Tate Helps Rescue an Injured Girl on Mountaintop

While Miesha Tate has had a roller coaster year, and not necessarily always for the best she hasn’t let it get to her spirit.

Just this past weekend she was hiking at Mary Jane Falls in Mount Charleston in Nevade, where she usually resides when she came across a woman carrying her 6 year old child down a mountain.

The big down climb was quite a struggle for the mother of the child, 6 year old Kai who had a broken arm.

Tate was very amicable and offered to carry Kai down for her family. When asked the child opted to have the former bantamweight UFC champ carry her down the mountain.

Tate proceeded to carry the child for around 2 miles downwards with steady steps.

Kai’s father took the opportunity to thank Miesha on instagram:

Such a crazy labor day weekend for our family but ended in such an amazing and beautiful way. My poor Kai broke her arm at the top of the Mary Jane Falls hike at Mt Charleston. So @mommapookand I basically had to carry her down miles ahead. To our rescue and assistance came the amazing@mieshatate the UFC fighter. She offered to help us carry her down the mountain. Such an amazing and humble person to have met. Our family cant thank you enough for all the help. You saved us easily hours of hiking and helped us get her to the hospital sooner. Thank you again
