Michael Bisping’s 15 year old son Callum, is quite the grappler. He has been wrestling for the past few years in the USA and is an orange belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Callum, competed in the Sports Jiu Jitsu International Federation’s (SJJIF) World Championships in Long Beach, California, over the weekend and took silver in the 18 year old blue belt division!
Michael wrote in an Instagram post, “My boy @callum11231 just won his first match at the jujitsu world championships in Long beach. @rvcasport and he’s having to compete in the 18 year old blue belt division. And he’s a 15 year old junior orange belt. @mauriciotinguinha”
mikebispingMy son just won world silver medal at the jujitsu world championships. He did an amazing job representing @mauriciotinguinha #tinguinha jujitsu and the Bisping name 🙂 He lost the final by a razor close decision. Well done Callum! Couldn’t be prouder.
Michael Bisping himself is a brown belt in BJJ.
“Callum and Ellie [Bisping’s daughter] never give us problems, whatsoever,” Bisping said on a UFC 199 special. “We’ve never had to discipline them. They’re great kids because they take after their mother. Luke, unfortunately, has a little bit of me in him,” Bisping said of his younger son who has been known to give his father some stress by picking his opponents to beat him.
