McGregor Sued By Security Guard For Hurling A Can At Diaz Presser Altercation

McGregor’s new found wealth and status may have also brought along some challenges. We all remember the throwing items fight that broke out at a press event for McGregor Diaz and it’s meni mini episodes including those staring Dillon Danis and Jake Shields.

However looks like McGregor will get the last word.

Even though both fighters have paid their fines to the NSAC for the scene according to an article from THe Blast McGregor might be forced to hunk over more money over the incident.

He’s just been sued by a man who claims to have sustained injuries when he was hit on the back with a monster energy drink can.

Even though majority of items thrown in fight were water bottles, thanks to Monsters’ sponsorship of UFC one energy drink was tossed by McGregor.

William Pegg claims he was struck in the back by said can, and paid almost $5000 in medical bills for injuries suffered from incident. He is asking for a total of $95,000 in damages.

Lawsuit was filed back in March, McGregor’s team is denying responsibility.

McGregor is coming off a massive payday for a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather where he was defeated by TKO in the 10th round. It is unclear when he will be making his return to the UFC to defend his lightweight championship.
