Maynard James Keenan is a man of many talents. He’s been working as a musician, producer, winemaker and actor! If you keep up with the music scene you’ve probably had the pleasure of listenting to Grammy Award winning progressive metal band Tool (he’s the vocalist) or perhaps A Perfect Circle or Puscifer.

He’s also very into jiu-jitsu! As he told TeamRock :
“Jiu-jitsu is about finding your boundaries. It’s a humbling experience, because there’s always somebody who’s much better than you are. If you can get your head around that and accept that and really just be concerned about yourself, learn about your boundaries, learn about your place in the world, then you can exceed and move forward with whatever limitations you have.”
And really MJK holds the rank of purple belt going as far back as May of last year.
Tool Frontman Maynard James Keenan Promoted to Purple Belt in BJJ
He talked to a number of outlets lately given that his side project Puscifer released a new animated video dealing with Donald Trump like Godzilla trampling on the White House.
Towards the end of the video, the Trumpzilla captures and grabs a trio of wrestlers with his self-motivated strands of hair before being knocked unconscious by a wave of female wrestlers. Keenan hopes viewers will be amused enough by “The Arsonist” video to momentarily forget the growing anger, frustration, and polarization between supporters of Trump and Hillary Clinton, and just laugh.
Martial Artist and Comedian Joe Rogan makes a cameo in the video!
