Bordeaux has been the scene of this peculiar crime. A man made an attempt to steal the glasses from a woman this past Saturday.
But he failed to account for the woman’s judo background!
Sudoest.fr reports the woman in question turned out to be a great judo champion. The thug approached his victim in order to steal the glasses from behind, but the young woman was faster and promptly ended this attempted robbery.
And before the robber had the time to express his yelp of surprise he was met with the hard street pavement.
Ultimately the victim-that-wasn’t called for help, a little embarrassed to see her assailant struggling to get up. The man in question recovered from his surprise and stumble at the police station. He remains jailed.
