The ‘Lezginka’: Caucasus Fighters Victory Dance is Amazing To Look At

If you follow various martial artists from the Caucasus region, you will notice that they share similar aspects. They all have a great base in grappling arts, they are very aggressive and tough and they all love to dance! Yes, that’s right, they all go crazy for a dance called the Lezginka.

The Lezginka is a national dance of the Caucasus region which is a region located at the border of Europe and Asia, situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, and which is the home if famous fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov, Valentina Shevchenko and the various Wrestlers, Sambists and Judoka from the region.

They perform this dance as a celebration usually after a victory, usually with a big smile:
