Learn The KNEE ON BELLY And Make Your Training Partners Suffer

The Knee On Belly is an extremely powerful position. Not just because of the control you gain over your opponent, but also because of something equally – and maybe even more – important… The edge you get over their mind.
This position makes them question their life choices and endurance in all possible ways. That’s why you have to learn it; to bring on the suffering!

But how are you supposed to enter it? And how are you supposed to hold it? Have no worries: Professor Luis Heredia explains.

KNEE ON BELLY BASICS

Professor Heredia starts by demonstrating how to enter into the Knee On Belly position. The most basic way to do so is from Side Control; posture one hand on the opponent’s hip and the second one on the collar (behind their neck). Then, do a simple push-up and slide your knee on their belly… It’s so easy that it works all the time!

In regards to your balance – make sure to shift your weight onto the knee that’s on their belly. Your stretched-out leg should possess almost no weight in it, and be able to freely move.
Also, make it a point to follow your opponent’s head wherever it goes; and to control the opponent’s collar or shoulder.
