Kid Yamamoto – Dead At 41

Some really stunning news surfaced earlier today when it was revealed Kid Yamamoto has tragically passed away at age 41.

Yamamoto’s gym, Krazybee in Tokyo, broke the tragic news on social media:

 “Yamamoto KID Tokuhiko

Yamamoto Kid Tokuhiko (41 years and 6 months of age) who had been fighting cancer for a long time to everyone who cheered Tokuwaki , passed away today on September 18th.
To everyone concerned for support and support before you, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone of the fans.

In addition, please refrain from interviewing the Yamamoto family, family members, friends etc, so that we can give consideration.

On August 26, 2018, Yamamoto wrote on his Instagram that he has been diagnosed with cancer and was currently battling the disease.

Yamamoto last fought in February 2015 on the Ronda Rousey v Cat Zingano card. The match ended in no contest after accidental eye poke.
Some of Yamamoto’s notable victories are over Royler Gracie, Caol Uno and Genki Sudo.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kid Yamamoto and his family. The mixed martial arts world has lost a true legend. RIP.
