Jon Jones is killing suspension time by being involved in interesting grappling fights under the Submission Underground banner. The latest man to face Jones is Dillon Danis, youthful Marcelo Garcia coach and also the guy non grappling world refers to as Conor McGregor’s grappling coach.
When the rumors of the interest for a fight surfaced, Danis tweeted in McGregor fashion:
Man, such a big target on my back. Got all these black belts out to get me. Who’s tapping next #SUG3

@JonnyBones beg me.

And now Jones is ready to comment on the exchange:
“Him telling me to beg him, it was kind of the douchey thing to do and I felt like I was already in a situation where I had not very much to gain – not many people even know who he is. So, I just felt like he was being a douchebag and I was like, ‘I’m not even going to entertain you.’”
Do you think Jones has anything to gain from this matchup?
