Jon Jones B Sample Tests Positive, Silva In As A Replacement

UFC 200 card has undergone quite a few changes in the past few days since Jon Jones tested positive for 2 undisclosed substances in a June 16th testing.

After USADA’s finding Jones opted to have a B-sample tested, which gets results expedited. Sadly for him, he was found once again positive for those two substances. USADA noted that unless Jones’ team discloses the substances neither will they.

Jones’ sponsors have washed their hands of responsibility for the positive test (even though one of their supplements contains DHEA) yet Jones seems fairly crushed.

But in a surprising turn of events, the new main event will not be Hunt vs Lesnar but the Women’s Bantamweight championship match up between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes. It’s interesting to note Tate actually had some trouble with the weigh ins and opted to weigh in sans clothing:

Daniel Cormier was initially crushed but things are looking better for him since he will be getting the initially brokered paycheck. He is now set to face Anderson Silva. Anderson Silva also known as Spider is currently a 3rd degree black belt under (his bjj coach) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

UFC 200 will take place tonight, July 9th 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card starts at 10 PM (PTZ).
