Jon Jones hasn’t had it the easiest since the breaking of the news he failed his doping test for the first time back for UFC 200. However for a while there it seemed like he was bouncing back – that is up until he failed a doping test – again.
Joe Rogan recently talked about him at length during one of the podcasts:
“Jon Jones, with this, becomes the number one f*ck up of all time, for sure, if he wasn’t already. This is the biggest one ever. We can only hope and pray that somehow or another there’s some mistake. Here’s the thing, we don’t know what was really going on now [with Jones]. Now I think we are allowed to have complete, open speculation with zero concern for being respectful. After the dick pill thing you gotta go, ‘Look man, the dude was partying, he was taking some dick pills.’ Coke, I don’t give a f*ck about coke. That’s not helping you. Then you hear about this and you go, ‘Wait a minute, what is this?’ I want to know what this is.”
TMZ is also reporting that Jones tested positive for Turinabol, though that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. If Turinabol sounds familiar, it’s the same drug Frank Mir was suspended for using.
“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Jon Jones of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an in-competition sample collected following his weigh-in on July 28, 2017,” the UFC confirmed in a short statement.
The first time Jon Jones excused himself with the tainted supplement excuse – Jones was suspended for a year by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) after it was discovered that an off-brand erectile dysfunction drug he had taken was tainted with the anti-estrogen substances that resulted in the positive drug test.
