In a tragic turn of events, bjj brown belt Patrick Bucher died yesterday in a parachuting accident. Patrick was quite active on the competitive scene and he will be sorely missed.
Swiss Grappling League said of his passing:
Patrick was a member of Athletic Fight Team.
His team added:
Sad I can’t believe we have to be from our friend, Patrick Bucher, say goodbye. We have an incredibly good friend and training partner lost our grief and can’t put into words. Our thoughts are now with the family of Patrick! We pray at training today for Patrick, that he may rest in peace and for incredible strength for his family at this difficult time! You’ll always be remembered in one of the best Patrick! As a good friend, even better fighter and for all of us as a champion!!!
