Subsequently UAE Apologized To Israel For Treatment of Judo Team and promised fair treatment which lead to reinstating the event. This was followed by a historic moment – Israel’s Anthem Plays in Abu Dhabi for First Time as Judoka Sagi Muki wins Gold
Additionally Grand Prix Israel was announced as well albeit to a mixed reaction.
