In Judo, Uchi mata is called “the King of Throws”. Uchi Mata is Ashi Waza or a foot technique, and known as one of the most difficult throws but also the most beautiful.

Uchi Mata very often results in an ippon.

Mongolian have their own way of doing Uchi Mata which comes from their national sport of Bökh aka Mongolian Wrestling . It is a powerful but actually simple technique used by the Mongolian Judo team which has been dominating world Judo for the past few years.
