Grappling Industries Boss Reveals 12.500 $ Wasn’t Enough To Secure A Match With IBJJF Competitor

 

 

Just last night Garry Tonon threw some shade at the IBJJF all stars – Leandro Lo and Marcus Almeida Buchecha. To shade them he reposted their picture (attached below) and captioned it :

 Keep working those bicep curls boys, one day you might need them to pry an angry midget with an ugly mustache off your legs”

While it’s unclear who engaged the picture was reported as a repost (something contrary to instagram etiquette especially given that credit was expressly given):

 

But Grappling Industries David Aguzzi seemed to shine some light on the entire situation. Reportedly he offered 12.500$ to one of the athletes likely registered to appear at Europeans which they refused only to be registering to basically grapple for free:

Why would an athlete refuse such an amount? What possible explanations can you think up for this scenario?
