Over the weekend rumors started circling Ralph Gracie was in a vicious altercation at Nogi worlds.

That’s not crazy, that’s Gracie way. Lot of people never even noticed that Gracie family are hot temper and exclamative/reactive behaviors. I remember when Royce Gracie lost his fight with Hidehiko Yoshida in one of the PrideFC, the whole Gracie team jumped in the ring and created a heavy turmoil with Royler raising his hands like he was ready to start an altercation with anyone.
I also remember when Royce won his UFC fight vs Kimo, right after his victory, his team jumped in the octadon and I remember seeing Helio, YES Helio yelling words to Kimo,s staff. Luckily nobody cared on Kimo’s team. Let alone Renzo and his altercation out of a nightclub (‘cant remember the whole story).
And I havent mention other family members who were involve in a couple regular life troubles.

“Thank you for your concern. As you may know, while coaching at the World No-Gi Championships, Flavio was viciously attacked by Ralph Gracie and one of Ralph’s students. The attack was completely by surprise, was unprovoked and did not allow Flavio a chance to protect himself. It was clear that the attack was meant to hurt Flavio personally, and also to intimidate Gracie Barra. The police are involved and are investigating. Flavio’s doctors have advised him to take time to rest with this family and recover from his injuries under their care, and to resume work when he is able. We very much appreciate your concern. We will address this situation further when the time is right.”
