Recently he spoke to combate and compared McGregor to one of Greatest Boxers of all time – Muhammad Ali. The Brazil native is a 2nd degree black belt in bjj under Luidi Mondelli but he still admires McGregor:

“Of course his success is deserved, you can’t deny it. The guy sells, knows how to talk, he’s intelligent, he’s not a fool, he doesn’t talk silly. McGregor doesn’t brawl, he just reacts. He’s never the first to engage. He goes in to provoke, but he doesn’t brawl. It’s like Muhammad Ali. McGregor is selling the show and fights well, he’s a real athlete, who’s never out of shape, always training. He’s a high-level athlete, who sells well and deserves it. Who earns more than him? Nobody. It could be Mighty Mouse, but he doesn’t make a show.”

McGregor does what he promises to do. I thought he was lucky to land that shot on Aldo. I still believe that if they fight on 145, Aldo kills him. But, if McGregor got lucky, he deserved it.”
