Polaris 4 has secured a number of matches. Competitors set to appear are: Fernando Terere, AJ Agazarm, Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro, Dillon Danis, Geo Martinez and others.
It’s looking more and more like Gilbert Durinho Burns won’t be one of them. The latest instagram posting by Garry Tonon revealed:
“I am extremely disappointed Gilbert Burns, after calling me out on Twitter, is refusing to have a match at @polaris_professional with me because he won’t cut weight to 170. Really? As if the steroids and massive size advantage aren’t enough, you won’t cut to 170 day before weigh in, 15 pounds heavier than your weight class in the ufc? Are you kidding me? I’m over here busting my balls trying to compete against the best, and you’re so lazy you can’t cut 15 pounds less than you normally have to? Are you kidding me? I took a match against Palhares, a guy who literally could’ve tore me limb from limb, and I cut him the same deal, make weight 15 pounds heavier than your ufc weight class. Man up and take the match. What world am I in?”
Of course the posting is accompanied by a snap of Burns’ UFC profile citing his weight class as 155lbs.
The twitter call out is embeded below:

Burns’ twitter account reveals he has plenty of respect for the Danaher Death Squad. He didn’t hesitate in congratulating Ryan on his latest victory.
Gordon Ryan is the real deal @UFCFightPass @eddiebravo #EBI8 ???

However Gilbert’s brother Herbert Burns did take this comment to heart:
Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
