Garry Tonon broke out during the ADCC in 2013 officially. His performances were attractive to watch and he arguably left it all on the mat. Still the now MMA bound Tonon is leaving a door open for a grappling return.
According to his recent interview with flograppling he sees himself grappling at ONE:
I still want to do it and it could happen in ONE, they’re always doing grappling matches and kickboxing matches. I think they’re doing a boxing fight soon too. So maybe they’ll have me grapple one of their guys, maybe Ben Askren comes back, you could see a grappling super fight there. That would be something cool. I could see something like that happening for sure.
