Garry Tonon is currently 2-0 in MMA. For his debut and subsequent match up Garry Tonon elected the welterweight division – he fought at 170.
If we look at his grappling career he also frequently grappled at that same weight. ADCC 77kg division is practically welterweight as 77 is 169 lbs.
After he’s had some trouble facing critics and submitting his 2nd opponent – the much bigger Rahul Raju Tonon has elected to have his next match up in the 155 lbs division.
