A celebrated jiu-jitsu player Gabi Garcia is gearing up for a new MMA fight.
This news was announced late yesterday by Rizin. The undefeated Garcia will be fighting a football player Destanie Yarbrough whose record stands at 1-0.
Yarbrough debuted back in April at The Warriors Cage 24 against Crystal Parson via technical knockout.
In addition to this match, 2 more woman’s bouts were added to the card, junior Olympic wrestler (and medalist) Kanako Murata is set to take on Kyra Batara and kickboxed Rena Kubota will fight the Olympic Wrestler Miyuu Yamamoto.
Also another 5 fighters were added to the 16 men tournament – it is set to feature Jiri Prochazka, Amir Aliakbari, Teodorasu Aukstuolis, Valentine Moldavski and Karl Albrektsson. Of course they join legends such as Mirko CroCop Filipovic, Wanderlei Silva, Fujita and Kaido Hoovelson.
