Gabi Garcia has found herself in an awkward situation after accepting a fight against a middle aged former pro wrestler.
Previously Rizin struggled to find an opponent for Garcia as she faced a former female American football player and a Russian boxer (in a bout that ended in about 30s due to accidental eye poke).

However things aren’t so easy as Rizin has scheduled 2 separate grandma fights for Gabi, one for last New Years and one just now.

But the public was admittedly outraged at the idea of 95kg heavy Garcia facing off against a much older former pro wrestler.
This caused for an incident in a street where a Male stranger reportedly kicked Garcia saying “You only fight old ladies”.
Here’s how Gabi described the incident (for english fastforward to minute 5):

Garcia also captured the damage from the kick:

Former opponent Destinie Yarborough feels for Garcia:
“Honestly I feel for Gabi. She doesn’t get to choose her opponent. People don’t understand that. She under contract with them and if they give her a person to fight she has to fight that person or she violates that contract. People need to chill off her. I don’t like that they gave her this opponent but it is what it is.” Yarbrough told WMMA Rankings.
