At age 35 Yan Cabral has quite the fighting pedigree behind him. The Brazilian national has been a black belt under Nova uniao for quite some time. In addition to that he’s been active in mma for over a decade with notable submission victory over Sakuraba in 2011 under the Dream banner.
In addition to this Cabral also competed in the UFC with a record of 3-2 in the UFC.
But Cabral has since gone back to competing in the IBJJF and just over the weekend he attracted some attention at Paris IBJJF Open with notable names in attendance such as Adam Wardzinski.
Cabral also made an appearance at Abu Dhabi last month with some very nice performances
