Former BJJ instructor found guilty of sexual abuse

Former BJJ instructor of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in Eugene and former marine has been found guilty of sexual abuse of his student.

Gerald Strebendt was found guilty of second-degree sexual abuse following a six-day trial KEZI reports. This took place March 29th.

Strebendt was a long time friend and student of Eddie Bravo. He was the the instructor of the underaged girl whom he allegedly abused. He is also a former marine sniper and blackwater op. When he was arrested 10th Planet severed affiliation with the team.

 

 

The sentencing was supposed to be held at 1:30 p.m. at Lane County Circuit Court. The sentencing was postponed “because circumstances came to light after the trial,” the judge said.
