FloSports recently announced two major international partnerships that will see its jiu-jitsu coverage expand further around the world. Already a strong player in the sport with FloGrappling, from 2026, the company will be the exclusive streaming provider for Brazil’s Federacao Paulista de Jiu-Jitsu (FPJJ) and Italy’s Unione Italiana Jiu-Jitsu (UIJJ). The move is part of a broader strategy by FloSports to establish itself as the go-to digital destination for fans and enthusiasts of grappling from around the world.

The growth of professional jiu-jitsu has also infiltrated other aspects of mainstream entertainment and even sports betting. As events like FPJJ and UIJJ grow in international popularity, audiences follow them for two reasons: the athleticism and the unpredictability of the competitions. The FPJJ is also recognised for producing world-class athletes, which adds credibility to FloSports’ growing footprint. Many of the biggest names in Jiu-Jitsu, including Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida and Marcelo Garcia, all went through FPJJ competitions before going global. By securing the rights to air these competitions, FloGrappling now has access to an ongoing supply of elite athletes in its library, which is helping to sustain its standing as the most complete jiu-jitsu destination in the world.

The collaboration with UIJJ is a strong move in the right direction for the growing jiu-jitsu scene in Europe. The federation in Italy has developed a great deal over the past years; a new generation has emerged, and it has become one of the most prolific jiu-jitsu organisations of Europe. In addition to bringing all UIJJ tournaments, ranging from national championships to no-gi tournaments, exclusively to FloGrappling, the partnership will provide Italian athletes with global exposure while introducing the world of jiu-jitsu to European fans.

For FloSports, this expansion is not only about rights and content.
