First ever Welterweight Pro Invitational is off to a big start and all of the participants aren’t even announced yet! The event will be taking place December 3rd at Lincoln High in San Diego, California.
The rules of Five Grappling are mostly standard with one major difference. No Advantage Points are awarded in the competition!
The tournament will be featuring Bill Cooper of Paragon team. Bill is fresh off his outstanding performance at EBI 7 where he made it to the finals. He’s been ramping up his competition prep steadily.
Dillon Danis is also in. He’s been heating up the mats with UFC’s champion Conor McGregor. It will be trully interesting to see how well he does given the high level of competition.
One of the best surprises of Copa Podio Middleweights, John Combs is also going to stake his claim on the worthy title. In addition to these three the tournament will also feature Sean Roberts of Ralph Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Marcelo Mafra and Brian Morizi.
The last two competitors will be announced tomorrow, October 28th.
In addition to the main event, 20 superfights will also be taking place.
