Firas Zahabi Tests Himself By Grappling 250lbs Iranian Wrestler

Wrestling vs Jiu-Jitsu is very popular these days. Yesterday, the world’s best No Gi grappler Gordon Ryan faced Wrestling world champion Bo Nickal in a modified rules grappling match where leglocks were not allowed. Nickal played it safe and only had one big suplex, but Ryan was able to get a triangle-armbar victory in the last minutes of the match…

BJJ black belt and coach of GSP, Firas Zahabi recently filmed his grappling roll with a monster of a man: the 5ft 9 and 250lbs Iranian Olympic wrester Seyedmostafa Salehizadeh. Zahabi walks around at 190lbs…

Salehizadeh is a Greco-Roman wrestler who competes internationally for Iran. His last victory is the Asian Championships 2017 in men’s 98.0 kg. He competes in greco-roman wrestling. He is now transitioning to MMA and trains at the Tri Star gym in Montreal, Quebec.

Firas Zahabi was recently a guest on the ultra popular Joe Rogan podcast where he covered a few interesting BJJ subjects:
