While Georges St Pierre’s triumphant return to the octagon was hindered by an ulcerative colitis, there’s plenty of options flying around.
One notable being a McGregor match up given that they’d both have things to gain from it.
McGregor is looking at being stripped of the lightweight belt in order to give Khabib and Tony Ferguson match up more sway but he isn’t sweating voer it.
“Look, Georges understands that game so well, so well,” Zahabi told Fight Hub TV. “Plus, Georges is much more skilled in wrestling and jiu-jitsu. So I got to put it all on Georges’ side.
“But then McGregor has got that deadly accurate left. I give him that. He has a better cross than Georges, definitely.
“But Georges is too smart, too intelligent, too calculated, in my opinion. It’s highly unlikely he’ll get hit with it.
“It’s not impossible, just highly unlikely.”
