EBI 7 has just finished and we have our new winner. Eddie Cummings‘ road to victory wasn’t easy but it sure looked fun.
As expected Eddie Cummings worked through a slew of his enemies. His first opponent was Sergio Hernandez. Hernandez ran into Eddie’s Rear Naked Choke and lost.

Mike Davila was another stand-out of the tournament on the left side of the bracket. This is the heel hook he placed on his first opponent Joao Marinho:
But he ran into Cummings in the semi finals and he ended his journey there:
On the other side of the bracket, Bill “The Grill” Cooper had an excellent showing. His match against Ian Sanders went into overtime where he secured a victory via RNC
Sanders was a stand in for Joe Soto and Danny Prokopos had to cut his journey short due to an injured rib so Gutierrez took his place in the quarter finals.

Geo Martinez also put on a great show. He ended up passing into semifinals. Here’s the first round heel hook he applied on Mike Main:
On the other side Mike Davilla got an armbar finish against Baret Yoshida:
Bill Cooper ended up defeating Geo Martinez with an overtime armbar.
In the finals Eddie Cummings defeated Paragon Bill Cooper to be crowned EBI 7 champion

This is from the Cora Sek vs Zoey Chiles exhibition btw, that Cora ended up winning via armbar while Zoey is the one in focus in the clip above.
