Dillon Danis Was Removed from UFC 268 after Being Slapped by Ali Abdelaziz

BJJ world champion and 2-0 Bellator fighter Dillon Danis is said to have been kicked out from Saturday’s UFC 268 event after being slapped in the face by MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz.

Abdelaziz is the controversial manager of Kamaru Usman, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and most of the UFC’s Chechen and Dagestan fighters.

According to John Morgan of MMAjunkie.com, Danis and Abdelaziz collided backstage at UFC 268, and Abdelaziz allegedly slapped Danis in the face, which was seen by several witnesses but nobody filmed the incident.

The beef goes way back to the time when Danis was part of Team McGregor in the build up to the Khabib-McGrego title fight and the ensuing brawl that ensued.

However, even though Danis was the one that was assaulted, it was him who was removed from the arena. Abdelaziz also declined to comment on what exactly happened between them.

This is another episode in the long line line of incidents involving Danis who was recently involved in an altercation in front of New Jersey bar where he was caught on film being chocked by a bouncer who had formal Jiu-Jitsu training.
