While there are many questionable reputations in bjj one man who seems impervious to most is the smiling legend – Marcelo Garcia.
Dillon Danis & Mansher Khera Suspended From Marcelo Garcia
However in spite of this his former student and the man he’s coached for a number of years called him standoffish on the latest edition of the MMA Hour.
When prompted about Garcia Dillon responded:
“I’ve seen him in the street a couple of times in New York but that’s it. We haven’t really talked or anything like that. ”
further prompted Danis clarified:
“It’s awkward head nods and things like that. Marcelo is very standoffish and holds grudges. It is what it is – I have no ill will towards him. I love him. He was like a dad figure to me, and I hope everything kind of works itself out, or we can just keep going like this.”
Danis added the two had talked about mma mindset and trained mma together back in the day.
