David The Rock Jacobs Has Passed Away

 

 

David The Rock Jacobs was a 3rd degree black belt in bjj. He began his grappling career at only 11 years of age with wrestling. He was a d1 level wrestler at college at Franklin and Marshall College. After college he took up weightlifting, rock climbing and kickboxing.

Watching Royce’s victory in the UFC inspired him to take up bjj and he’s started in February in 1998. 7 years later he would be awarded his black belt.
