Weigh ins seem to be more and more of an issue for the rising number of UFC stars. Ever changing protocols and cautionary measures meant that a number of athletes have been having issues.
The sold out event – UFC 210 was under a huge question mark because the first time Cormier stepped on the scale he looked fairly skeletal and was 1.2 pounds over weight.

Questions immediately came to mind. How was he able to lose 1.2 pounds in just a couple of minutes? Why was he allowed to weigh in a second time? In short Giardina said the state’s policy is to allow a second weigh-in for championship bouts.

In the end Cormier had made the weight in spite of looking skeletal however the betting odds have shifted slightly into Rumble’s favor since.
Of course Cormier’s biggest adversary Jon Jones weighed in calling it the dirtiest move:

Rumble thinks the weigh in controversy isn’t really worth the attention.
What do you think? Was he intentionally trying to cheat the scale?
