At last weekend’s west coast trials one grappler stood out out of the many that competed. In the 88kg division we saw quite an unexpected turn of events… As Jacob Rodriguez (B Team), Nicky Rodriguez’s younger brother and a BJJ blue belt, crushed his way through the division and secured his place at the ADCC.
JayRod as he known, was even promoted to purple belt after his achievement.
