Craig Jones Managed To Submit Gabriel Arges With a Slick Backtake

In a weekend of huge events Craig Jones did his best to steal the focus away from the disgruntled. THe Australian phenom who made his name at ADCC 2017 managed to sub IBJJF proven champ Gabriel Arges. In spite of Arges being on a serious streak having conquered the gi competition king of the mats – Arges still lost to Jones.

The two met as a part of Grapplefest 4,  little known promotion out of Europe. In  series of great exchanges Craig Jones did his best to knee slide on arges even successfully pulling off a pass to side control to mount transition at one point.

From there things only went south for Arges who was subsequently going through another repeat of trying to defend the kneeslice in the end just getting his back taken and a very quick tap followed this sequence.
