Craig Jones made it out of ADCC with his reputation better than ever. After all the aussie ace just had a bjjscout video dedicated solely to his best tips.
But one of his biggest tests might still be ahead – he’s set to duel Marcelo Garcia dream team black belt Matheus Diniz.
Diniz is known for his enormous strength and agility – he is an IBJJF nogi World medalist and has competed at EBI – unlike many of his IBJJF prominent peers.
Diniz has been mia for a part of last year due to injury:
I have not been able to compete in the last 4 months because of an injury. Nothing drives me more crazy than not being able to compete and train hard with my team. To do what I love, it’s really frustrating but, I’m taking care of my body and soon I will be back competing and training hard.
I’m done for this year with tournaments but, I will be back next year strong, competing and giving everything I can.
Thank you everyone who is staying strong with me,my team my sponsors friends and family you guys are amazing.
On the other hand Craig Jones just cannot get over the hurdle that is Gordon Ryan – the australian has lost to Gordon at EBI14 in addition to the ADCC.
KASAI Pro 2 goes down on April 14 in New York.
