Comedian Bill Burr Blasts “Old Men in their 50’s on TRT & HGH”

Bill Burr recently targeted middle-aged men using testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in his comedy. He mocked 50-year-old men on TRT trying to regain their youth, joking that their efforts are pointless. Burr, 54, dismissed the idea that TRT can restore a man’s youthful physique, emphasizing that aging is inevitable.

Burr’s scathing comments highlight his disdain for men attempting to reverse aging with testosterone. While TRT is popular among older men seeking to boost muscle mass, energy, and sex drive, it remains controversial due to potential health risks and unrealistic expectations.

In contrast, Joe Rogan supports TRT. At 51, Rogan admitted he’s been on TRT since 40 and praised its benefits, encouraging others, especially those in physically demanding jobs, to consider it. He emphasized the importance of proper medical supervision and comprehensive testing before starting treatment. Rogan argued that hormone replacement therapy, when done correctly, significantly improves well-being and physical function.

Burr Said:

“That’s another reason not to be taking testosterone supplements in your 50s. I love these guys in my generation now where they got them all chasing this testosterone. It’s like, you’re not, so just let nature take its course, okay? Nature isn’t wrong, and you’re not going to fool nature. You’re not going to make nature like your body and say, “Oh, wait a minute, am I 18?” You’re not going to live longer. I think all of that stuff is insane, and I don’t understand why in your 50s you would want to go around with the testosterone of a 21-year-old. It just doesn’t make sense because now, in your head, you’re going to be Jason Bourne, but you’re walking around, and you’re in your 50s.

You know what? If I was taking that testosterone, I would have gotten out of the car thinking I could have punched through his window and pulled him out. I would have gotten my ass kicked. What the hell did all of these guys now… I don’t know. Like, my whole generation now… I’ve been doing a bit about this. I see these guys; they’re taking before and after photos of them having a dad bod and then being shredded in their 50s. It’s like, dude, you’re on steroids. You’re on HGH. There’s no way to do that at my age naturally, and it’s okay.

What are you trying to do? I don’t understand. What exactly are you trying to do? You’re going to go out there and try to bang a 25-year-old? You know, I talked to a 25-year-old, I talked to a 30-year-old, and they sound like a child. I don’t understand. These people are weirdos, man. I think they’re weirdos. You know, just eat healthy, keep your shirt on, you’re old, no one wants to see that, okay? Go get yourself a sport coat and actually age. You’re 55 years old, trying to look like a backup dancer in the 80s. If I can stress anything to young people, there’s nothing…”
