Are you feeling a bit discouraged lately? Be it on the mats, in your career, or whatever else…
It seems like you’re not “getting there”?
Well, take it from the legendary BJJ athlete Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, when he says that he understands the struggle.
In his own words, he came from nowhere. But through hard work and persistence, he achieved his dreams:
I’m just a simple guy who came out of nowhere. My family had no history in martial arts, and yet I made it.
I’m just a simple guy who worked hard… Who rode his bike sometimes for 40km a day.If it was possible for me, I believe it’s possible for anyone.
But of course, it’s not going to be easy. It’s going to be hard. But I promise you, it’s going to be worth it. If I did it, you can do it too – just believe in yourself.
Buchecha believes that when you mix hard work and passion with consistency, there’s nothing that will stop you:
It doesn’t matter if it’s in your sport, in your personal life… If you put your 100% into working hard in something and you’re passionate about it – that’s the secret.
Work hard, and you’re going to get there.
