Alex Williams is only 16 years old and a BJJ junior world champion who was, a couple of weeks ago, confronted and then assaulted by an older man.
In a video that has gone viral, Alex showed calm and incredible restraint in his own actions; handling the situation with ease.

And wouldn’t you know it – Alex was recently surprised by a phone call from none other than Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida! The two spoke about the incident, with Williams explaining what happened:
This 35-year old man, he comes over and tries to intimidate us. He starts trying to assault me and that’s when I had to defend myself.
Buchecha, in return, praised the young man for his behavior:
That was something unbelievable, man. I would love to one day train with you, man… You gave him the chance to walk away, but instead of that, he kept coming… You showed such good technique and good control of the situation… Now that I’ve met you, I’m going to keep following your name in the competition, so you have a big fan here already, man.
