Benson Henderson Set to Grapple AJ Agazarm At Polaris 6

The self-proclaimed King of England himself, AJ Agazarm, is back.

This time he’ll be looking for revenge against the former UFC Lightweight champion Benson Henderson in the Polaris 6 co-main event, this time no gi.

Things are bound to get heated at Polaris 6. The number One sub only event of this type, Polaris has brought us the match up we’re dying to see once again in face off of ADCC vets Craig Jones and Jake Shields.

Craig Jones is the absolute break out of 2017 having eliminated Murillo Santana, Leandro Lo and Chael Sonnen at ADCC.

But that’s not all – Jones has been busy since and has notably hyper extended Gordon Ryan’s arm in an EBI overtime where he came very close to a major upset.

Jones has also been a big part of nogi worlds:

He’ll be facing one very charged outside member of the Renzo Gracie crowd – American jiu jitsu practitioner Jake Shields. Shields has proven to be super charged time and time again putting immense pressure on Dillon Danis and ultimately declared victorius. Shields is fearless, emotionally charged and very very advanced in his grappling – he’ll no doubt be a great match up for Jones as the Polaris 6 headliner.

This isn’t to say that other matches at Polaris 6 will lack enthusiasm. Big follow up to the headliner will be UFC’s submission artist Marcin Held.

Reigning Cage Warriors champion Chris Fishgold pits his battle-tested submission game against the UFC’s Marcin Held, the Polish prodigy with numerous submissions to his name.
The powerful Fishgold has a killer guillotine, but will he have a chance to get to the neck while fending off Held’s leg attacks?

Polaris also typically features some locals. This time that honor is on Marco Canha and Ash Grimshaw:

Biggest female star on the card will indubitably be Gezary Matuda. Matuda is a force to be reckoned with and will be an honor to watch on Polaris 6:

Matuda is a proven Polaris name having previously dominated one of the most decorated female competitors via armbar in just over a minute!

Elsewhere on the card EBI proven female competitor FFion Davies will be facing a Galvao black belt Chelsea Leah. This will be a typical clash of styles – IBJJF Gi dominant Leah vs the EBI heel hook enthusiastic Davies.

Tommy Langaker was one of The finishers of 2017 -he’ll also be featured on the Polaris 6 card. He’s been a black belt for just 6 months yet his victim list is impressive: Hugo Marques, Alec Baulding, Bruno Matias and Max Lindblad.
