B.J. Penn’s Brother Reagan Penn Accused of Assault in Brazil

Reagan Penn is wanted by the Brazil police department. The brother of bjj phenom BJ Penn was in Rio De Janeiro helping Penn prep for pending Ryan Hall fight when he found himself in a suspicious situation.

According to reports he allegedly assaulted three people in Botafogo, multiple sources told MMA Fighting on Thursday.

Brazilian police tweeted:

#2BPM helps to contain American identified as an MMA fighter, for he has assaulted some people in a building, located on Botafogo Beach. The foreigner was very aggressive. The fire department was called and forwarded it to the Rec hospital in Leblon.

Penn has a record of 1-1 in mixed martial arts and is a black belt in jiu-jitsu. This is not the first time Reagan Penn found himself in hot water as he was previously arrested at an LA airport for ”getting into it with flight crew over alcohol.”
