Just yesterday it was announced that a bigtime favorite Marcio Andre will be out of ADCC. Now another big name is out.
Flograppling confirmed that Joao Gabriel Rocha is out of ADCC 2017 edition in Finland due to a neck injury.
It appears he was injured during the IBJJF Grand Prix in a duel against Buchecha:
“I’m really sad, but I’m out of ADCC 2017. I tried forcing it this week but it didn’t work out. I injured my neck in the IBJJF GP against Buchecha,” Rocha said adding
” The last two times I got the silver medal, I really want this title and I know I can conquer it, but it won’t be this year.”
