In a surprising turn of events Marcio Andre who has been on a serious warpath for the last year is out of ADCC 2017.

ADCombat.com announced the news overnight:

ADCC is releasing the daily update on Who Is In and Who Is Out of the ADCC Worlds 2017, which takes place at the Espoo, Finland.

Update:

Nicolas Renier a Luta Livre black belt from France who is also a 5x ADCC vet and probably the best European No Gi grappler in his weight class having already won the FILA worlds. He will once again be part of the elite and become a 6x ADCC vet.

Marcio Andre just appeared at Berkut Jiu-Jitsu over the weekend – he won the 75kg division defeating Edwin Najmi in the finals.

The other change announced is that Over 99kg USA participant Mario Rinaldi will be out.
