What might happen: It’s hard to bet against two-time champion, Rafael Mendes. This weight class will mix new, current and old champions. Old school stars like Baret Yoshida and Ricardo Vieira will also particpate.  Joao Miyao might be the surprise of the division. Look for a Cobrinha or Tanquinho vs Mendes final. What might happen: The bracket is missing the legendary 4 times champion Marcelo Garcia. The favorites are Kron Gracie, who almost submitted Marcelo last time and is still hot after his Metamoris victory over Shiny Aoki. Look out for contenders JT Torres, Dj Jackson, Garry Tonon, AJ Agazarm, and Otavio Sousa. It will be interesting to see how Leo Vieira does this time as he hasn’t competed since the last ADCC where he reached the final. Kron wins this.

What might happen: This weight class might be the most stacked category of the event together with the -87,9 kgs. Alexander Trans doesn’t appear in the final competitor list. Look out for the very hard to handle Orlando Sanchez. Vinny Magalhaes looks very hard to beat but if someone can do it, it should be Buchecha. Buchecha takes this one in a crazy final vs Vinny.
