Delson Heleno also known as Pé de Chumbo (meaning lead foot) is in for Worlds 2018 – 16 years after first winning!
Pé de Chumbo has been a martial artist for a very long time getting his start in capoeira and then promptly transitioning to bjj and then also mixed martial arts.
Pé de Chumbo traveled to Renzo Gracie Academy in New York, where he took the opportunity to further refine his game. He told graciemag:
“I never wanted to stop so much time fighting Jiu-Jitsu, I just stopped a little, because MMA took a lot of my time. But I came back strong in 2018 and I do not want to stop anymore, because it’s great to put the kimono back in the competitions. ”
