The last weekend’s Who’s Number One (WNO) Championships featured some of the most exciting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu matches of 2021.
One of those matches was between the 16 year old bjj blue belt Cole Abate from Art of Jiu-Jitsu academy (Mendes brothers) and Geo Martinez, a black belt under Eddie Bravo and the currently ranked number 1 No Gi lightweight grappler in the world.
Abate was tearing Martinez’s knee early in the match before winning by decision in a action bound match:
Master the mount position and finish fights with total control using Roger Gracie’s master class series!
- Secure devastating submissions that work for grapplers of all levels, including cross chokes, ezekiel chokes, arm locks, and more.
Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
