The Italian Championship Open of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (Gi and No-Gi) is back, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. This is a international competition, Open to all athletes, including foreigners non-residents in Italy, over the age of 4. The event is scheduled to take place on June 4th in Rome and is organized by BJJ ITALIA – www.bjjitalia.it

 

One of the unique features of this competition is that there is no membership requirement. Anyone can register and compete, regardless of their affiliation. This has led to a surge in registrations, with the previous edition of the competition attracting over 900 competitors.

 

The Italian Championship of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi and No-Gi features two categories of competition: Gi and No-Gi. Both categories are open to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

 

BJJ Italia is offering free registration for Ukrainian refugees interested in participating in the championship. Sports clubs that have Ukrainian refugee athletes are invited to write to info@bjjitalia.it to take advantage of this opportunity.

 

The first five teams classified in both the Gi and No-Gi categories will not only receive the coveted championship cup but also cash prizes. This is sure to attract even more competitors and increase the level of competition.
